National Library for Health is now NHS Evidence

In a nutshell: The National Library for Health (NLH) has transferred to NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellence) to become NHS Evidence.

The National Library for Health resources will now be known as NHS Evidence Information Resources. Currently you will notice a change in colour scheme and logos; additional functionality and content will be added in future versions of NHS Evidence.

NHS Evidence will incorporate some of the key components from the National Library for Health, enhancing and providing the latest functionality. In addition NHS Evidence will be developing an accreditation process for sources of information to provide confidence for users of health and social care information.

Some important notes: To access the resources described, you will need an NHS Athens username and password. Please view our NHS Athens page for more information.
