In a nutshell: NHS ELITE is a new essential IT skills course that will be launched in February 2009 for the Wirral Health Community. This programme has been developed specifically for NHS staff who need to use the National Programme for IT (NPfIT) computer systems and services to do their job. It will equip all staff with the essential IT skills needed and help them to understand the security and confidentiality required when using technology within the NHS.
