In a nutshell: If you are registered on a course with the University of Chester and are struggling with APA (American Psychological Association) referencing, help is at hand! The current APA guide is in each Chester student's module space under Library Guides. The guide presents a list of different types of resource with an example of how they should each be referenced. There is also a new tool for Chester students - a referencing module (LS0003) which will soon appear in each students learning space as soon as they click on e-learning. This is an interactive resource that lets you select the type of item you wish to reference and takes you through a process to illustrate a correct reference.
Some important notes: Library staff cannot advise on APA referencing but Learning Support have regular seminars and drop-in sessions in the Faculty of Health and Social Care. You will need your IBIS log in to access these resources.
