Then this training is for you!

Finding the Evidence 1
A starting point for anyone who wants to develop basic searching skills and find out which resources to search to make finding the evidence easier and quicker. Includes demonstrations and hands-on use of PubMed, NHS databases, NHS Evidence Specialist Collections and Google.

Finding the Evidence 2
Build on your existing searching skills and develop your skills to use more advanced searching strategies and techniques and access additional evidence-based resources. Includes demonstrations and hands-on use of NHS databases (advanced), The Cochrane Library and more.

Introduction to Critical Appraisal
A basic introduction to critical appraisal concepts and techniques. This session will help you understand how to appraise research literature for its validity and relevance to clinical practice in order to support evidence based decision making.

Statistics Mentoring Clinics
One-to-one advice and guidance in statistics for those who would benefit from extra support when faced with using statistics in practice or research. Available to WUTH staff only.
