New England Journal of Medicine: *New content!*

Source: Integrated Library Service

In a nutshell: The library's subscription to the New England Journal of Medicine now includes full text articles from 1993 to present, and a new feature, Videos in Clinical Medicine.

Videos in Clinical Medicine are educational videos to teach procedures requiring skilled techniques and specialized physical examination. This first series of teaching videos is intended to help students, trainees, and younger physicians to learn procedural techniques from experienced colleagues.

The videos are available both in a downloadable file and in a version compatible with handheld digital devices. Each video is from five to eight minutes long and is accompanied online by a printable summary to supplement the video.

How do I access Videos in Clinical Medicine?
Go to http://www.nejm.org/ and scroll down the page to the link to 'More Procedure Videos'.
Alternatively, go directly to http://content.nejm.org/misc/videos.dtl.
The videos are displayed as most recent additions first.

Further dissemination: If you think any of your colleagues would benefit from receiving these alerts, please direct them to the LEAF bulletins web page.
