Changes to library services

In a nutshell: University of Chester resources are being moved from the McArdle Library (Education Centre, Arrowe Park Hospital) to the new University of Chester Library at Clatterbridge.

The McArdle Library will be offering a modified service during the following periods:
Friday 17th, 9.00am-12.00pm
Monday 20th July
Tuesday 21st July


On these dates you can...
-Have full access to the IT Suite – just follow the signs to the side entrance*
-Access the internet*
-Access the Library catalogue*
-Access PCIS*
-Access the specialist software*
-Use the IT Suite to study*
-Ask us to fetch books and journals for you to use
-Ask us to fetch books for you to loan
-Renew and return your books
-Pay your fines
-Ask us to do your photocopying
-Print as usual*
-Use our Inter-library loan service
-Access our usual enquiry service
-Access our specialist services
-Buy stationery
-Use the Bleep phone located outside seminar room 7
*These services will not be available on Friday 17th July 9am-12pm

However on these dates you may not...
-Access the McArdle Library through the main doors which will be closed, however you can gain access to the IT Suite and to a wide range of Library services
-Have 24 hour access to the McArdle Library

From Wednesday 22nd July all users of the McArdle and John A. Aitken Libraries will need a Library Card to be a member of the library. A £5 refundable deposit will be required for your Library Card.
